The painter of the month Alfredo Rodriguez .

Alfredo Rodriguez: Born and raised in Mexico, in a family of nine children, Alfredo received little artistic statement. However, the painting was as much part of the development of the young child to learn to speak and walk, and his talent became the tool used to help his family during times of crisis. Examples abound, showing how Alfredo was capable of turning adversity into opportunities, both artistically that personally, through what he calls "the miracle" of his life. His first memories are work done in class illustrating his family members, his first watercolors at the age of six years. Alfredo now lives in California and several of his works have won grand prix of prestigious organizations.

Artist proffessional since 1968. Internationally recognized for his paintings of the American West, his rich and vivid mountain images are admired everywhere where they are exposed, but it's his eyes on people giving the focus of his work, as he painted, he catches the dignity of the human spirit by the majestic beauty of its environment.
He has come a long way from its humble beginnings to the present day, filled with love, laughter, tragedy, and especially of art, his story tells how a life guided by instincts, and totally, steadfast in the faith of God can lead a man to achieve his dreams. The critics believe that the masterful treatment of the American West is largely responsible for its success and shows an even greater potential for the future
